Paste special I'm very familiar with and it does not save graphics and live
I would show all what I se but you can't attach jpgs here.
People create forums and Web sites and must upload content in tables
because it makes it easy for them to upload - not so easy to remove for end
Any further thoughts as Clear Formatting in LW doesn't do it?

First of all, yes to the question: Check out the various Edit > Paste
Special (<Ctrl><Shft>V) options, beginning with Paste Unformatted Text
(<Alt><Ctrl><Shft>V), which will always give just a text string, without
table or other formatting. (However, note that in doing so, the
"unformatted text" will then adopt the formatting into which it is
Also note that, depending on the source context, Paste Special will offer
appropriate table-oriented paste options.
