LibreOffice Christmas quiz for the blog - ideas wanted!

Hello everyone,

I did some "content marketing" training recently, and learnt that fun
quizzes can be a great way to spread the word and inform people. So how
about we make a "Christmas quiz" about LibreOffice for the blog, and
encourage people to share it on social media?

The quiz could be useful (providing tips and techniques), informative
(people learn about the project and community) and fun as well. Some
sample questions:

* How can you change the icon theme in LibreOffice?

 - By editing a configuration file
 - Under Tools > Options > View
 - You can't change the icons

* How many people attended the last LibreOffice Conference in Tirana,
Albania?

 - 25
 - 75
 - 150

* LibreOffice was based on OpenOffice.org. What "respin" of
OpenOffice.org did many Linux distributions use at the time?

 - Go-oo
 - LinOffice
 - TheOpenestOffice

Then we'd have the answers at the end, with links to resources, videos,
interviews, Wikipedia articles etc.

What do you think? If you have any question suggestions, let me know :-)

Re: LibreOffice Christmas quiz for the blog - ideas wanted!

That looks great.

Likely you have a graphic already for the blog post, but I put together an
idea for a Merry Christmas Card type of graphic - it's all original of
course.
Put a quick first cut of something here, just now,
https://nextcloud.documentfoundation.org/f/91473
If you are interested in something like that I have time to make changes.

Best wishes,

Drew

Well, I went and touched first one up a bit and uploaded the new copy for
that, then, added a second version with Season's Greetings replacing Merry

The Season's Greetings version is at

Hi Drew,

Great, thanks for that -- I'll post the quiz on the blog on the 24th,
and then your graphic on the 25th :-)

Cheers,
Mike

Re: LibreOffice Christmas quiz for the blog - ideas wanted!

Well, if it is a stand a lone piece why not go all the way to a video.

I put together a quick mockup, just the image decomposed and a couple of
gentle lighting effects.
Grabbed a freely licensed copy of Dance of the sugar plumb faries and a, as
you will hear crappy voice over of the text.
You can the results here; https://youtu.be/Wa9AhvfmZMQ

So, if that is of interest what I really need is for someone to give me a
clean voice over (mp3, flac, whatever pretty much format wise) of that text
between now and the 24th and I'll send you the resulting file.  My
microphone setup is just not a good quality. Let me know if you are
interested in that.

Drew
