[Libreoffice-qa] Press on "Tools - Options - LibreOfficeDev - Online Update - Change" crashes master?

Good morning all,
is it just on my system, or is someone able to reproduce it?

1. Go to "Tools – Options – LibreOfficeDev – Online Update"
2. Click on the "Change..." button

On my system (LO Version: 4.4.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID:
fbc7cfe515169766f4436500987100b3075378dc
TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86@45-TDF, Branch:master, Time:
2014-08-02_11:09:56, parallel installed as described on
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Installing_in_parallel and on
Debian Testing i686), I get the message

<quote>
LibreOfficeDev 4.4 - Fatal Error

file:///path/to/master/opt/libreofficedev4.4/program/../share/config/soffice.cfg/fps/ui/explorerfiledialog.ui
</quote>
... :( Before I do the hassle to open a bug, which no one else can
reproduce for whatever reason ... ;)
Thanks for Testing
Thomas.

Re: Press on "Tools - Options - LibreOfficeDev - Online Update - Change" crashes master?

Installing 4.3 on Debian stable and WinXP tomorrow.
I'm about 6.5 hours behind you.

Will start downloading 4.4 as above to try on Deb stable.
Good night.

Re: Press on "Tools - Options - LibreOfficeDev - Online Update - Change" crashes master?

Morning.
Axel is downloading the master~2014-08-02_11.09.56_LibreOfficeDev_4.4.0.0.alpha0_Linux_x86_deb.tar.gz, which will take a while with current connection.
I'll try your condition on it.
Are you running any other testcases on it?

Do you mean, if I am running some MozTrap tests at the moment? Or
something different? No, just stumbled by chance upon them ... :(

Re: Press on "Tools - Options - LibreOfficeDev - Online Update - Change" crashes master?

Installed 4.4 master on Debian Stable w/backports
executed the following:
1. Go to "Tools – Options – LibreOfficeDev – Online Update"
2. Click on the "Change..." button
and get the following result: in the annexed image,
but no error.
Maybe it's a Jessie thing?

attachments are blocked on this list (but as I got an additional
mail with the attachment ... ;) ). It is better to upload it
somewhere (to a file hoster, your website, if you have one, etc.)
... ;)

Interestingly, you can select a different path, where I got a crash
... ;)

Maybe. Or some 32bit vs. 64bit thingie or ... ;) For that reason I
have asked here instead of reporting it to Bugzilla, where it would
be closed as "WFM" immediately ... ;)

Thanks for testing and have a nice day
Thomas.

Re: Press on "Tools - Options - LibreOfficeDev - Online Update - Change" crashes master?

Yes. Tried again and with Change I created a new dir for download of updates and it was recognized by LibO-44.

Re the attachmentes:
Yes, it went to you.  :)
I found out many years ago when I erroneously attached a 1 MB image to an OOo list while using dial-up. Not long after that,
the list no longer accepted anexes.  :P

FWIW, I am able to change the download directory and check for updates
without any obvious problem.  This is using my debug of master commit
f77981e, fetched 2014-08-04, built and running on debian-wheezy
64-bit.
