[Libreoffice-ux-advise] [Bug 130646] HYPERLINK DIALOG: Simplification of Hyperlink Process

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130646

--- Comment #2 from Dr. Frank P Ferraro <[hidden email]> ---
That would work for a short list of bookmarks in a document but as the list
grows it becomes harder to "remember" the exact name used for the bookmark in
the first place.

Allowing the user to access the bookmark LIST in a more convenient fashion and
then have a search function might be the answer.  One of the problems I see is
that in order to access the insertion of bookmarks you either have to use a
number of key strokes or take your hands off the keyboard and use the mouse
which is very inconvenient when trying to edit and type things into a document.
A direct option to access in document bookmarks for hyperlinks would be very
convenient, as I was thinking a HOT KEY combo to put you in the dialogue
directly.

The Autocomplete might be effective as I think about it but would have to try
it to see how effective it would be.
