Moving on to a new job

Dear community,

I will be leaving TDF as a contractor by the end of July. I got a very interesting job offer that I decided to accept. I have long thought about this offer, but I came to the conclusion that it best fits my personal development. Despite being no longer the official infrastructure representative, I will continue to help out as a volunteer. I enjoyed the possibility to build and shape the current state of the infrastructure and hope to be able to contribute in the future.

The next weeks will be challenging for the infra team, we have to step together to cope with the upcoming tasks.
For the moment, Christian will be introduced to the most urging topics, but as this is not his primary job,  helping hands will be needed.

If you want to contribute to the infrastructure of the Document Foundation, please join the next infra call that takes place on June 15, 1800 UTC, with details being available at https://pad.documentfoundation.org/p/infra <https://pad.documentfoundation.org/p/infra>

My leave will also affect the work on many tickets, because a smooth handover, together with some important issues such as the shaping of the overall infrastructure is now the highest priority. The handover status and current high priority tasks will also be condensed in the infra pad.

I had a great time working with you, and am looking forward to being a volunteer again!

Thanks,
Alex

thank you for all you have been doing for LibreOffice and TDF, for
growing our infrastructure and for moving forward the platform we all
work with - I am thankful for your work and services, and it's sad to
see you leave. You've been around from day one and helped to run the
servers from the launch day on in September 2010, and it was an exciting
ride so far, and I'm glad you've been a part of it.

I am glad you will stay in a volunteer capacity, and I look forward to
working with you on our infrastructure in our spare time.

In the meantime, TDF has opened a tender at
https://blog.documentfoundation.org/blog/2016/06/10/tender-for-a-infrastructure-and-system-administrator-201606-01/,
so if anyone from this list is interested, excited to see your applications!

I'd like to highlight this again - it would be great to see many
interested infra volunteers and discuss the next steps!

Florian
