Prompt to save when no changes made with LO 6.1.4

There's a really annoying new "feature" in LO 6.1.4.2 - whenever I open a
file and print it with no changes, it prompts me to save the file after
opening.

Why would that be?

Like I said, it's really annoying.

Also, if I do save the file, the same thing happens next time I open it.

This is while running on Xubuntu 18.04.2.

Thanks.

I think some information about printer settings is (or at least can be)
stored in the file.

If you don't want printing to treat the document as modified when there
are no other changes, go to Tools > Options > LibreOffice > General and
de-select the 'Printing sets "document modified" status' option.

Hmm... you're right. Just got around to actually trying it on my
LibreOffice 6.1.5.2 on Linux Mint (installed from the LibreOffice PPA).
Opened an ODT (Writer) document, printed, and the document is marked as
modified (green star or orange dot on the save icon depending on theme)
as soon as the "print" dialog opens. It's still marked as modified even
if the print dialog is immediately cancelled.

I'm pretty sure that option worked at one time, and hadn't noticed that
it doesn't now. I don't do a lot of printing, but guess when I do I must
either save immediately after printing anyway or print from a read-only
version (in which case the document doesn't get marked as modified).

This still happens starting with a new document, and also with a fresh
LibreOffice profile.

After some searching of bugs, this looks like bug 123378
<https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=123378>. Despite
the title implying that this is a regression in 6.2, from comments it
looks like this affects 6.1.5 too (and from your description, seemingly
also 6.1.4) but should be fixed in 6.1.6.
